The origin
of Moldavite
Moldavite came to
Earth some 14-16 Million years ago as the result of a meteor impact in
the Moldau Valley, Czechoslovakia. Moldavite is classified as a translucent
green tektite although many refer to it as 'the only gem stone from space'.
This unique green gemstone crystal is only found at the meteor fallout
location in Czechoslovakia. Some experts have recently suggested that it
could be a fusion of Earth and meteorite caused by the power of the collision
but wider belief maintains that it arrived on Earth completely formed in
space.

In legend, it is
believed that moldavite was a gemstone used in the Holy Grail and is considered
to be one of the most powerful new-age stones / crystals. Even people not

it helps manifest positive life change but the affect may be quite a powerful

The moldavite I
offer for sale is shipped direct from my reliable source / supplier in
Czech Republic so is 100% authentic. It's amazing to think you're handling
something that is not from the Earth and came from billions of miles away
in the distant past. It is said to be rarer than a diamond and apparently
all moldavite mining must stop in 2012. In which case Moldavite will definitely
be something that few people will have or be able to get their hands on.
